# 4.7.3.1 Add/Create New Role in a Company

This feature allows users to create new roles and assign them to colleagues. This feature benefits the company with a specific project or task requiring a unique skill set or permissions.

### Pre-conditions to use the Feature:

* Users **must have** an **account** in Onethread.
* Users must be a part of a company.
* Users **must be Super Admin/Admin** to add a new role in a company.

### Steps to Use:

* Next, **enter** the **name** of the **new role** in the **"Role Title"** box.
* **Write down** the **responsibilities** of the **role** in the **description box.** 
* You can **set** the **appropriate level of access and permissions** for the **Functionalities** of the role in the **Additional Information** section.
