# 5.6.2 Edit a Document

This feature allows users to modify and update existing documents within a project. This feature provides users with a simple and intuitive interface to make changes to the document's content, format, and structure. 

Users can edit documents and ensure that project information is up-to-date, accurate, and relevant. 

### Pre-conditions to use the Feature:

* Users **must have** an **account** in Onethread.
* Users **must** be a **part** of a company.
* Users **must** be **added** to a **project**.
* There **must** be at least an existing **document** in the **Wiki section**.

### Steps to Use:

* **Go** to the **Wiki** section of a **project**.
* **Click** any saved doc name. 
* It will open.
* **Edit** the **document** **name**. 
* **Edit** your **information** in the **description box**
* **Save it**.
