# Delete Stakeholder

With this feature, users can remove stakeholders who are no longer relevant or involved in the project. This could be due to organizational changes, personnel adjustments, or other circumstances that require stakeholders to be removed from the project's scope.

It's important to exercise caution when using this feature as deleting a stakeholder will permanently remove their profile and associated information from the project. Therefore, it is recommended to review the stakeholder list and assess the impact of deleting a stakeholder before confirming the action.

It's worth noting that deleting a stakeholder does not affect any historical records or project-related activities associated with that stakeholder. The data and records related to their past interactions and contributions are typically retained for reference and historical purposes.

### Pre-conditions to use the Feature:

* Users **must have** an **account** in Onethread.
* Users **must** be a **part** of a company.
* Users **must** be **added** to a **project**.
* Only an **Admin** of a **project** can **delete a stakeholder**.

### Steps to Use:

* **Go** to the **Stakeholder** section of a **project**.
* **Click** the **Stakeholder** you want to delete from the list.
* **The delete** Action **button will activate.**
* **Click** the **button**. A confirmation modal will open.
* **Click** the **Yes, Delete** button. 
* The **Stakeholder information** will be **deleted**.
